AI Companion
Talk with Sage anytime. She listens without judgment, asks questions, and helps you work through what’s on your mind.
Why I Built Sage
I wrote Learning How To Breathe Again about surviving anxiety and depression. But a book can only go so far — it can’t listen back.
Sage is what I wished I had on the hardest nights: someone available at 2 AM, who wouldn’t judge, who would just listen and help me sort through what was weighing on me.
She’s not a therapist. She’s a companion — built from everything I learned about what it means to keep going, one day at a time.
What Sage Is
Sage listens, asks thoughtful questions, and helps you untangle what’s on your mind — without pretending to feel what she can’t.
She’s warm, steady, and honest about being an AI. No cheerful platitudes over real pain. Just room for whatever you bring.
What’s Inside
Sage is a complete space for your mental wellness — private by design.
Talk with Sage anytime. She listens without judgment, asks questions, and helps you work through what’s on your mind.
Write freely. Your journal stays on your device, locked behind Face ID, and is never uploaded anywhere.
Check in with how you’re feeling. Gentle insights help you notice patterns over time.
Slow down with guided breathing exercises when anxiety spikes or the world feels too loud.
A quiet word of strength each day — shareable, saveable, always there when you need it.
In a later update, the People tab will connect you with trusted volunteers who care — real people offering peer connection, not therapy.
Private by Design
Sage was built with privacy as the foundation — not an afterthought.
Your journal and mood entries stay on your device. When you chat with Sage, your messages travel securely over the internet so she can reply — and they are used for nothing else. Sage is anonymous by design: no name, no profile, no photos. No ads, no trackers, no data sold. Ever.
Account information is kept to the minimum needed to sign you in. And you can delete everything — account and all data — with one tap.
Our Promise
Illustrated avatars only — your identity stays yours.
Locked behind Face ID, never uploaded.
If you’re ever in crisis, help is one tap away — call or text 988.
